After moving to the area in 2005, from Essex County NJ, our founder was so taken by the Beauty, Vastness, Friendliness and Cost of Living, that she thought there wouldn't be anything she would miss. Well I guess some things were just take for granted. The one thing missing from her old neighborhood was food and the convenience of acquiring it. The commute stole three hours everyday from an already hectic life. Then the almost non-existent places to order and pickup her families meals didn’t help the situation either. Thus the adage, "Necessity is the mother of invention".
So came the birth of The Commut-E-Caters.
With the necessity to save precious time and the want for delicious home cooked meals, came the birth of The Commut-E-Caters LLC.
Offering reasonably priced delicious home cooked dinners for two. The best part is we will have those meals prepared fresh, ready to eat and waiting for you when you step off the bus.
